Jávea is located at the north of Alicante, between the capes of San Antonio and La Nao. The town is split into 3 portions; Javea old town, Javea port, & the beach area.
The old town and other structures is a maze of narrow winding streets, white fronted homes adorned with wrought iron balconies & gothic style windows and many ancient churches.
The port & harbour; home to a collection of restaurants & bars, many of them serving the catch of the day.
The beach area is the site for much of the expansion & development in recent years, with many low rise developments and a slightly more international feel.

Playa El Arenal / El Arenal Beach
Javea's most popular beach is sandy, safe & set in a beautiful location. The beach can get crowded during the summer months, especially at weekends. A selection of restaurants, cafes and a range of other facilities surround the beach. |
Playa La Granadella / La Granadella Beach
Sand, pebbles & rocks. This beach is just 220 metres in length. One of the more popular beaches in the area its waters are clear turquoise green & it has been awarded the blue flag award. Provision has been made for people with disabilities, & other facilities are present. |
Cala Blanca Beach
This pebble beach is quiet & isolated. Reachable only by foot. A graet place for those keen on snorkelling. The beach is approximately 300 metres in length. |
Cala Sardinera Beach
Another pebble & rock beach, measuring 500 metres in length.This lovely spot, is accessible only by foot. Along a path through pine woods. |
